Here Gajak is specially made from sesame seeds, jaggery and ghee. Apart from this, Gajak is prepared using different materials in all different Gajaks.
Special Gajak is made from 50 types of dry fruits
Vijay Narayan Sahu, the artisan who makes Gajak, told Local 18 that different dry fruits are used in different Gajak. In making Gajak, dry fruits like cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios, peanuts and cardamom are especially used. A lot of Gajak are available in Sahu Gajak Bhandar like cashew-almond chikki, peanut chikki, sesame patti, jaggery patti. Whose price ranges from Rs 200 to Rs 800 per kg. He told that Gajak is in highest demand during the winter season. As the winter increases, the demand for Gajak also increases among the people. Jaipur special is in great demand all over Rajasthan. Therefore, the work of making Gajak continues throughout the year.
